Description

Uber’s mission is to make transportation as reliable as running water -- everywhere, for everyone. We started in 2009 to solve a simple problem - how do you get a ride at the touch of a button? Six years and over a billion trips later, we’ve started tackling even greater challenges: Reducing congestion and pollution in our cities by getting more people into fewer cars. Moving not just people but packages safely and efficiently across the globe.

We invite you to join us to learn more about Uber. Join Uber engineers as we dicuss what happens during the life of a trip.

Following the overview, join us and our Head of Diversity, Damien Hooper-Campbell as we host an interactive career panel. We'll be dicussing topics such as career paths, how to be successful in the job search and what it's like working in tech and at Uber. There will be an open mic so please come with questions of your own to ask the panel.
